What is Boomerang Jam?
Following on from WTM #3, Razzamajazz this is a razzle dazzle collection of original and jazzy songs encouraging children to sing, move, dance, play instruments and improvise. Hear rock, pop, rap, latin, african, swing and many other styles. Experience the live sound of the trumpet, trombone, saxophone, clarinet, didgeridoo, African djembe and much more, including some homemade instruments! This album is for all funky kids and their parents and caregivers to enjoy, for creative teachers and children to share in the classroom, and for choirs to experience new vocal challenges.
Baktraks & a new innovation - Gaptraks!
Boomerang Jam is available on a double CD including Baktraks Plus - backing tracks without the vocals, and Gaptraks - vocal traks with 'gaps' for singing or playing responses or improvisation, for classroom and/or performance use.
Comprehensive Teacher's Book now available!
This huge 96 page Teacher's Manual contains music, guitar chords, ideas for improvisation and classroom percussion arrangements. Now with CSF "learning outcomes".
