FAQ - Frequently asked questions - specific practical info about the conference

How do I get to Genazzano?

To help plan your trip go to www.travelmate.com.au which has a map maker and can provide routes, distances and travel times.

How do I get to Genazzano by Tram?

Route 109 (Box Hill) goes from Collins St in the city, to Victoria Parade (near St Vincent's Hospital) then out to Kew. See www.victrip.com.au for more information about this route and others. Cost for a Zone 1 ticket is $5.80.

How do I get to Genazzano from the airport?

From the airport: A taxi direct from the airport will cost approximately $45 and take about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you may catch an airport bus to the city (about $13) and then catch a tram or a taxi to Kew (Taxi fare about $15)

Tell me more about the Dinner and Singfest?

A Dinner & Singfest is planned for 6pm on the Saturday evening at Genazzano. This will be a wonderful chance to informally catch up with others and enjoy great entertainment. The cost is $35 (includes food & drinks). It is not too late to book for this. If you would still like to come please contact Glenys prior to Monday 17 May.

Where can I park?

The best parking is within the grounds of the school near the Centenary Hall. Enter from Cotham Road or Mont Victor Road on the eastern side of the school. Parking is also available in the streets but please take careful note of any parking time limits or restrictions.

What do I need to bring?

Morning and Afternoon teas and lunches are provided. Remember to wear comfortable clothes (in layers) as the school can be cold and you will also be participating in Music and Movement activities.

Where can I stay?

We have arranged special rates at the 'Pathfinder Motel', 380 Cotham Rd, Kew (cnr Burke and Cotham Rds) Phn (03) 9817 4551 (only a short walk from the school) and also at the 'California Motel', 138 Barkers Rd, Hawthorn (a short taxi ride from the school) Phn 03 9818 0281 & speak to Alison. Please book well ahead at either motel and mention you are an ECCPA participant
