Invitation: Attendees at the Back to School workshop as well as all interested teachers are invited to come and hear Professor Gary McPherson who is the guest speaker at the Kodaly National AGM. Professor McPherson is Ormond Professor of Music, and Chair and Head, School of Music, Faculty of the VCA and Music, The University of Melbourne. He returned to Australia in July 2009 to take up his appointment. He will be sure to have something worthwhile to say given his long experience in researching school programs and his extensive research on music performance learning and music giftedness.
The address will be from 1.30pm to 2pm before the formal part of the AGM commences. All are invited to stay and attend the AGM. You may like to BYO lunch to have between the conclusion of the Back to School Day and the commencement of the address.
