The Program The session will focus on styles, genres, words and music in composition, in dramatic context, and created through improvisation and collaboration. About Warren Willis Warren Wills, composer, arranger, pianist and musical director, has been conducting Masterclasses in New York, London and Hong Kong for 20 years. He will be arriving in Melbourne direct from the Hong Kong festival where he has three shows running with international artists. According to the New York Times, he recently had the No. 1 and No. 6 shows simultaneously: The Milliner, a post-Holocaust story set in Berlin for which he composed an expressionistic score that also explored the Dietrich cabaret format of the period; and Murder Mystery Blues with Woody Allen and Janey Clarke, an original musical set during the 1940s jazz swing era in Manhattan. He comes to Australia to give a rare Masterclass for professional teachers.
